Recovery Church is a new church experience. It’s for anyone who sees themselves as unchurched or dechurched with a live desire to be rechurched.  Recovery Church also is for anyone who may be currently attending a local church but is still looking for a recovery place to worship ‘out of the box.’  This is the church for you.

Recovery Church is ‘church out of the box.’  Have you battled with religiosity, legalism, questioning where you fit with God and what His plan is for you?  Recovery Church pushes past the religious restraints that have kept us ‘boxed in.’ We are a faith community ‘living life well’ and intentionally invested in leaving a legacy of wholeness for generations.  We welcome people who want more of Jesus and desire freedom from addictions, dependencies, obsessions, hurts, wrong attitudes and thinking.  Teaching and preaching is based on biblical principles. Recovery principles are the basis for additional support and as tools encouraging a functional, healthy lifestyle and spiritual growth. 

 

The Holy Spirit is welcomed ‘for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty’  II Corinthians 3.17.  Our core values are Justice, Encouragement, Significance, Unity, Service.

Recovery Church begins September 26.2010 at 4 p.m., 1902 East 4 Street, Duluth, MN.  There will be worship, drama, teaching, preaching and prayer ‘out of the box.’
